Intellectual Popcorn

Link-love is in the air, and I thought I'd contribute by giving you some "intellectual popcorn."

Buried in these kernels of wisdom are some nifty places to go looking for more ideas.  As Homer Simpson's smarter, older brother would say, "Intellectual popcorn, yum!" (A big hat tip to Paul McEnany.)

The dog that trots about finds a bone.

It is difficult to see the picture when you are inside the frame.

If you hit every time, the target's too near or too close.

Life is like playing a violin solo and learning the instrument as you go along.

If it's surprising, it's useful.

The man who waits for things to turn up has his eyes on his toes.

One meets his destiny often in the road he takes to avoid it.

Studying the inverse problem always helps.

Make, or hire a graphic artist, to create a Creative Think: Intellectual Popcorn blog sidebar link badge.

Your content and blog title are screaming for some promotional graphics. I'm not trying to sell you anything, but check out the Spread Firefox and other product evangelism sites.

This is one of the most powerful online promotion and ecommerce tips I will ever pass on to you and your readers.

Focus on the vision you want to implant benevolently, beneficially in the user's consciousness: that is your current logo.

Now transform the astonishingly brilliant logo, to a clickable sidebar button. Next, provide the code, or explain how right click and Save As then add HTML to it, to make it a graphic link.

Let that branded logo button spread like a memed viral buzzmachine, mute but loud and alive.
