I hear the radio coverage was very good.

      Roger von Oech

Mark: Indeed so! I listened to the graphic coverage: "the earth's dark curve moved across the moon's unsuspecting silvery face and gobbled up the whole thing — only to give it back moments later."

      Stephen Denny

We saw a hazy but still spectacular show down here in the 831 part of Norcal -- I was driving home from San Jose and had a Hwy 1 south-bound view of the moon for 30 minutes from 25% to 75% coverage. Then later, we got the big cannon out (a 6" Dobsonian from Orion) and got a (still hazy but still) great view at 48x magnification through the redwoods. No pictures, unfortunately.

We'll plan on being in the desert in '10 when it all happens again!

Stephen: you had better luck than I. What will your vantage point be in 2010?

      Stephen Denny

Hopefully in the pool at the Princess in Scottsdale.

      "Copernicus invented the solar system"?
      Thought it was Al Gore!
Actually God disagrees with both viewpoints!

Well i wanted to share one thing with you guys...that i have been growing up with this FACT that when there is a solar or lunar eclipse we should not hang out of homes or look up into the sky during that exact time because we might get blind or have some skin color deficiency. Any comments!
